Biggest challenge:
As a runner, I seek out adventurous trails up and down. As a flatlander from Winterthur, I train for this so that I can escape to the mountains at weekends and on vacations.
The completed 24-charity run around Lake Greifensee in 2022 was a major challenge.

Best running area:
The hilly Graubünden region from the Engadin to the Puschlav is very pretty and there are plenty of ups and downs for me as a pre-alpine bouncer.

Best run:
The best runs are the ones that are completed without injury and are impressively dismantled at the end in good company over food and drink.

Best gadget for running:
Nothing works without my hip bag for my essentials.

What do you stop for while running?
I stop at every mountain lake to cool off.

Best song before the run:
Dont`t Bring Me Down von Electric Light Orchestra

What does trail running mean to you?
I love mountains and the peace and quiet in the mountains. Mountains are powerful, majestic, imposing. They can't be conquered, but they can be played with. I can push myself uphill and downhill, challenge myself or simply enjoy a flowing trail.

Biggest challenge:
After a fall off the trail this summer, in which I broke my collarbone, I struggled for a long time with a lack of self-confidence and the fear of falling again. It was a long process and a mental game to get back to my old self and took a lot of effort. Slowly but surely, I'm able to shred the trails with confidence again.

Best race track:
Difficult question, the Capoliveri Race in Elba has the most beautiful view and the World Cup courses in Val di Sole (Italy) and Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) are the most fun.

Best MTB tour:
In my region, that would be from Schöftland via Böhler and Rütihof to Gränichen and back over the hill. First-class paths, a high proportion of trails and all in the forest.

Best gadget on tour:
Small pump, inner tube and bike tool to be prepared for everything.

What do you stop for during a ride?
When I'm riding alone, I often stop when I see a beautiful landscape or mood.

Best song before you get on your bike:
Go Solo (Alari Remix)

Something I've wanted to do on the bike for a long time:
Build a small jump and set it up at my lake and then jump into the lake with the bike.

Vivien LabarileIce climbing and outdoor climbing

Biggest challenge:
Outdoor climbing: An 8a projected and climbed
Ice climbing: Vice world champion in the Lead&Speed combination

Best climbing route:
Wege zum Glück (8a), Joli in Wallis

Best drytooling route:
Fuck me I’m DTS (D12), L’Usine in France

Best gadget for climbing:
My Theraband is now my best friend and I always have it with me so I can warm up well and avoid injuries.

What are you interrupting your climbing for?
For a beautiful sunset, preferably with a small snack.

Best song before you start a route:
Eminem – Till I Collapse

Biggest challenge:
The Tour des Stations last August was not without its challenges - spending almost 13 hours on the bike and overcoming almost 9,000 meters of altitude. You experience so much and then you're glad when it's over.

Best road bike area
One of my favorite areas is definitely Toggenburg. There are so many possibilities and roads with little traffic. I also really like the many steep mountain roads in the alps. Of course, I also love riding on the alpine passes.

Best gadget on tour:
My Garmin computer is always with me. I can read off all the important data or even check where the road continues. My homemade 'Cardiomix' consisting of nuts, gummy bears and dates is also always with me. A spare inner tube and a mini tool are also important in case I have any minor technical problems.

What are you interrupting the tour for?
When I'm traveling alone, I rarely make a stop. However, I do need a good coffee and a slice of cake from time to time and I make time for that.

Best song before you get on the road bike:
There are quite a few. At the moment it's mainly tracks from the bands Allah Las and The War On Drugs.

Nicole LütolfTriathlon, Trailrunning

Biggest challenge:
My first triathlon (Extreme Triathlon Helveticman 68 km / 2600 HM) in 2021 with a finish on Melchsee Frutt - perhaps not the easiest triathlon to start with. This was followed a week later by the Zytturm Triathlon in Zug with the Olympic distance, which was then a "short thing".

Best training area:
Swimming: During the winter months, swimming training takes place for better or worse in the indoor pool, and as soon as the warmer months arrive, in Lake Lucerne, with or without a wetsuit depending on the water temperature/distance.
Cycling: Right on my doorstep in the beautiful canton of Nidwalden and Obwalden, of course! There is little traffic on the roads here and training can be completed efficiently and relaxed. There are also a thousand little mountain roads to discover, including the occasional dead end ...
Running: I love variety, sometimes on asphalt, sometimes along the river on natural roads or up and down through the forest. Once the triathlon season is over, I'm drawn to the mountains for trail running - my fourth "pleasure" sport - we're well served in central Switzerland with lots of mountain peaks and wonderful views.

Best gadget to always have with you during training:
Running: Nothing runs without a heart rate monitor and Garmin watch.
Cycling: You have to take your iPhone with you in case of an emergency: 079 xxx xx xx!

What do you stop for during training?
On long bike rides: For a "shaken, cold coffee" with extra caffeine or for a "wee-wee break". If it's really hot, I can also dip my legs in a cold fountain.

Bester Song bevor du mit dem Training beginnst:
David Guetta Feat. Kid Cudi – Memories

What is your wish/goal?
Staying healthy and maintaining a balance between my three children, my job and sport.

Biggest challenge:
Non-stop road bike ride from Küsnacht ZH to Frankfurt am Main in the unexpected onset of winter. Together with a friend, we completed the ride tired, proud and satisfied with freshly grilled salmon at a barbecue exhibition (spontaneous drive-through), a coffee booster in a VIP bar where others were dancing in the exit, and priceless looks from the rest stop staff on a highway when we asked for drinking water and the next exit.

Best bike packing tour:
Via the Italian mountain range to Nice by the sea and via the French mountain range back to Switzerland.

Best mountain bike tour:
The Eiger Bike Marathon offers a wonderful mountain panorama every year.

Best gadget on tour:
The Garmin in all disciplines. Or maybe the cockpit sheep (sticker)?

What are you interrupting the tour for?
Preferably not at all. Most likely because of a defect - on the bike or me (hunger pangs).

Best song before you get on the road bike:
Dream Catcher – Vexento

Biggest challenge:
As an alpinist, I am always on the lookout for new challenges. But one of my biggest challenges was definitely my first expedition to Kyrgyzstan. At the age of 21, I was 7,000 meters above sea level. I was quite young for such heights, but I was still able to gain a lot of important experience back then.

Best climbing area:
There are many beautiful climbing areas. My favorite area at the moment is Lehn in Interlaken.

Best multi-pitch route:
The Wendenstöcke and the Gastlosen always offer great multi-pitch tours.

Best alpine tour:
Khan Tengri (7010 MüM)

Best gadget to always have with you in the mountains:
During training, these are definitely my airpods and my watch. They show me all the important data and the music motivates me when I'm running.
On expeditions, it's the satellite phone for communication and the Bialetti stove for the perfect coffee.

What do you stop for on tour?
Somewhere in a cozy hut for a coffee and a piece of cake. On the summit to enjoy the view - if the weather is right.

Bester Song bevor du in die Berge gehst:
Pantera – Walk

Biggest challenge:

Best gadget to always have with you during training:
Laufen: Der pinke Bauchgurt mit Tasche, in die ich meine ganzen Gels, Karten und mein Handy verstauen kann
Radfahren: Der Velocomputer, damit ich mich nicht dauernd verfahre
Schwimmen: meine Badekappe mit einer pinken Giraffe

What do you stop for during training?
Um mich zu orientieren, wenn das Navi wieder spinnt, für die Pinkel-Pause, das Flaschen-Auffüllen und wenn’s mal ein lockeres Training ist: für Kaffee und Kuchen!
