Whey is the liquid that is left over from the milk during cheese production. It therefore contains the components of the milk that do not end up in the cheese. Whey contains the highest quality whey proteins, which contain all the essential amino acids and can be very well absorbed by the human body.

Upcycling is a process of material upgrading in which materials are transformed into higher-value materials. In food-related upcycling, raw materials are used as ingredients that would otherwise not be consumed by humans, i.e. would be lost as food.
According to estimates by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), around one-third of the world's food is lost or wasted each year. These losses account for about 8 percent of the greenhouse gases produced by human activity and thus contribute significantly to climate change. Around 75 percent of Swiss whey is not consumed by humans. Through upcycling, we save Swiss whey, avoid wasting it and thus contribute to reducing food waste and making a contribution against climate change. Whey proteins in particular contribute to physical regeneration. It is not only important to us that we have the highest possible protein content in our products, but that they are balanced. A healthy diet is a balanced and varied diet. Our products are therefore primarily natural and contain a balanced ratio of macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats) and micronutrients (minerals and vitamins).
